TO OBTAIN CONTRACT OR SPECIAL PRICES ON THIS SITE:
- By "Requesting Login" or "Registering" you will enter your data to create a "Profile" to be able to securely "Login" with a "User ID" and "Password".
- You will receive an email confirmation that your "Profile" has been created.
- AVS will receive the same email that you have "Registered" and created a "Profile".
- AVS will review your registration for approval to access one or more contracts or special pricing levels. This review and approval takes place during our normal, non-holiday, business hours of 7:30AM - 5:00PM EST Monday - Friday.
- NOTE that AVS permits so-called "Piggy Backing" or utilization of Government or Education Contracts other than your own, so you may be granted access to additional contract pricing levels that you were unaware of. For example, University of California may purchase from AVS using the Florida State Contract!
- Upon approval, AVS will modify your "Profile" to enable you to access to those contracts or special prices on this site.
- You will then receive an email that your "Profile" has been Modified! We do not modify your "User ID" or "Password". We only give you better prices!
- From that point forward, whenever you "Login" with your "User ID" and "Password", you will see a new menu appear between the "Product Search" and "Categories" menus titled "Active Contract".
- All prices displayed on the site at any given time will be the prices applicable to the "Active Contract" that is selected, or better if offered as a web-special priced item that is lower in price.
- If shipping charges are included in the price for an item from an "Active Contract", then no freight charges will be added for that item in the "Shopping Cart". If the contract price does not include shipping charges, then those charges for that item will be added to your "Shopping Cart".
- The initial "Active Contract" that displays after you "Login" will the first one available to you in Alphabetical Order, and may not necessarily be the contract you wish to shop from.
- You may switch between any of the "Active Contracts" at any time during browsing or shopping this site.
- Any items that you "Buy Now" and place in the "Shopping Cart" will be placed in the "Shopping Cart" at the price from the "Active Contract" when placed in the "Shopping Cart".
- All items in the "Shopping Cart" are notated to indicate which contract they are being purchased under so you may review before printing out your "Shopping Cart" for use as a requisition, or proceeding to place your order online by "Checking Out".
- NOTE: "Checking Out" and placing your order DOES NOT require a credit card. Approved customers (which includes government funded institutions within the U.S.A.) may "Check Out" by FAX or PHONE using a Purchase Order. These methods don't actually Fax or Phone us, but send us your "Shopping Cart" order via email with your Purchase Order information on it so we can process your order.
